The holes for the pegs of the crossbars are milled or hacked away with a paring chisel. They are about 15 mm deep.
The pegs are make with a circular saw. It is important that they are well fastened afterwards.
After all edges have been rounded off and legs and crossbars have been ground, the pieces can be glued together.
