With the assistance of a mould and a laminate trim bit we make the holes for the goals.
The sideward supports and the inside of the goal (Pieces 3, 4 and 7) are drilled in accordance with the drawing. Later we will put the threaded rods through these boreholes.
Front and back as well as the cover are assembled with flat biscuits. Of course we could also use a round bolt or screws for this.

The finished goal case without back.
The ball flap (Piece 8) is mounted over the goal with a piece of piano hinge and is held in an angle of 45° by a support. The flap has about 5 mm play in order to absorbe the energy of the shot. This will prevent the ball from bouncing back out of the goal. All pieces up to piece 3 (outside) and piece 7 are glued.
