After the playfield has been covered on both sides, we roughen the up-side with an eccentric sander and abrasive paper granulation 80 or 100. That way the varnish will hold better later. In order not to cut through the coat of paint, the machine must be kept moving.

The playfield is ready when all the shiny spots are gone.

Next we glue the penalty area and the midfield on. It may be best to use a thin masking film for this.

After all lines have been indicated with a pencil, we cut out the masking film with a sharp knife. For the circle you can use a scalpel clasped in a compass.
